Rules & Disclaimer

Yeah – we have some rules too. Read them and be aware that by joining any of our project10-50 groups and/or by uploading your photographs you automatically agree to them as to any changes.

If you do not want to abide by these simple rules – don’t join, it’s that simple.

50mm prime only

This project is dedicated to photographing with 50mm prime lenses – so 50mm prime lenses only it is.

2010 only

This project is dedicated to photographing the year 2010 – so photographs taken in the year 2010 only it is.

This rule applies as from January 1st 2010. You can enter photographs shot no matter what date. But beware, those photographs might enter our Hall of Fame but will not be applicable for entering the contest and becoming ‘Best 50mm Prime Shot of 2010′.

EXIF data have to be included

Not so much as to check whether you used a 50mm prime and took your photograph in 2010, but enabling others to learn by getting ‘inside’ information we only accept photographs with EXIF data included.

If you send in a video of your photographs we may ask you to upload or send us a selection of the photographs and their EXIF data used in your video.

Entries and exclusions

Anyone can enter our project – and 'though we do not want to call you an ‘anyone’, you too are more than welcome!

You can upload and thereby enter no more than one photograph or video a day.

Be sure that your video’s duration is limited to one minute.

Now, aren’t these rules generous?

On the other hand we can remove or exclude any photograph or member without any further notice. Know that we will always do so in the following (not limited) situations:
- You don’t abide to our rules;
- Your photograph or comments are offensive (we do have broad minds, but we too have
  our limits);
- Your photograph includes your camera or lens (we actually don’t care seeing them);
- Your photograph is flat out boring or doesn’t make any sense to us why we should even
  bother looking at it.

Usage

By uploading your photographs or videos you agree that we display them on our websites.
We can display them as a single photograph or video, as part of a gallery or combined to video made by ourselves and maybe in a different pixel size than the uploaded version, and all this without having to ask your permission.

Copyright

We will not be responsible in any way for protecting copyrights or copyrights violated.
If you upload a photograph or video we believe that you are the truthful owner of it – if not, you are the one in trouble.

If someone else uploads a photograph or video of which you believe the copyrights belong to you, you cannot hold us responsible. We will remove the photograph or video however as soon as you can prove that you are the rightful owner.

If you upload a photograph or video to Flickr you will do so under Flickr it's rules, conditions and disclaimer.

Visitors to our websites will be able to download your photograph or video. We cannot be hold responsible for that or whatever will be done to or with your photograph or video once it has been downloaded.

Disclaimer

In all, we don’t want to steal your photographs or videos, abuse them or whatever evil things one could do - we just want to have a good time together with you.
So here’s our main and ‘covering all kinds of claims rule’ – we cannot be hold responsible for anything you might want to hold us responsible for.
